Lesley and my husband, Andy, grew up together here in North Carolina. And, recently, Andy and I attended Lesley's older brother's wedding, which happened to also coincide with Chris' proposal to Lesley! YAY! Such a fun wedding and group of people. Thank you for including us in such a special weekend.
When Lesley approached me about taking engagement photos of her and Chris -- I was so excited! :-)
We met at the Rose Garden in Raleigh for a late-afternoon shoot, and while it was a little warm, is was not unpleasant {in the shade}. However, despite this recent break in the searing heat, the roses still looked pretty brown and wilted. . .so, we chose to hang out on the perimeter of the garden - in the shadows and vines! And, apparently, this is what happens when the photographer turns around to pick up her camera bag. . .I may never put my camera bag down again! :-)
All said and done. . .I think these two might be my favorite of the day. . .
